We proudly introduce you high quality Urushi lacquer tableware series produced by Shiturindo*; the long-established lacquerware store in Japan. 
 
Genuine Urushi lacquer is made from 100% natural tree sap and it is delicate.  So, it is usually prohibited to wash in dishwasher machine.  However, their longtime experience and high skill made it possible.
Yes, they are machine washable and still used 100% natural Urushi lacquer.
 
Unlike traditional red and black, we believe these modern colors decorate your dining table with style every day.
 
*Shiturindo has established in 1793.  Since then, they have been producing a variety of tableware from daily use to special occasion for over 230 years.
From collecting sap from Urushi tree to making base of the tableware then finishing with the lacquer, they process all steps by man hands.
Their products also used at Eihei-ji, the main Buddhist church in Japan.

    • RETURNS & EXCHANGES.  For items purchased online, returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of the delivery date.  To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us at PIA@piaamerica.com to obtain a return authorization.  Be sure to include the item’s order number and your reason for the return or exchange.  Returns or exchanges that are shipped without authorization may not be accepted.  Please allow up to 10 business days for your refund to be processed once we receive your return or exchange.
    • RETURN SHIPPING.  Return authorization for items sipped in error, or items being returned/exchanged because they are defective or damaged, will include a pre-paid shipping label. Return shipping on items that are being returned/exchanged for other reasons will be paid for by the customer.
    • ELIGIBLE ITEMS.  The following items: Clearance items, Final Sale items, Perishable items, Special-Order items, Custom Products, and Gift Cards are not eligible for return/exchange.  We reserve the right to refuse any return/exchange, at management’s discretion, if the item being returned/exchanged does not meet the criteria set forth within this policy.
    • CONDITION OF ITEMS. Except for items that were damaged when purchased, items must be in new, unused, and in saleable condition with all original packaging intact and tags attached.
    • FORM OF PAYMENT. Refunds, if issued, will be issued in the original form of payment minus shipping and handling fees unless otherwise stated.  If the original form of payments is unavailable, store credit may be issued at our discretion.
